About CroArte Chorale
CroArte Chorale, a mixed-voice choir well known in Croatian communities of the GTA, Canada and abroad, is celebrating its 23rd season this year. Active from the early 1990's, the choir started as a female chorus led by its founder Betty Kovac. Growing with the addition of both female and male voices, at the start of the new millennium, CroArte Chorale became a mixed-voice SATB choir.
CroArte Chorale now draws together around twenty amateur singers
of all ages bound together by their love of choral music.
The choir is led by a dedicated and inspirational music director and conductor, Marta Vodinelic, who studied music at the Music Academy in Zagreb, Croatia, before moving to Canada. Marta continued her studies at the University of Toronto where she graduated with the Bachelor of Education degree and is now pursuing further studies.
